Tennis Court Rules & Guidelines 
 
Hours of Operation: 8 AM - 11 PM
 
1) Courts are for WCSTA Recreational Level Members only. Guest of members cannot live in the Westchester Commons subdivision. Guests must enter and leave the tennis courts with the member. Guests must be able to provide a proper ID (photo with an address) to verify that the guest does not reside in the Westchester Commons subdivision. WCSTA members permitting a non-member resident into the tennis courts will have their household membership revoked for an extended period of time.  
 
2) Members must have a membership card (with their name visible on the card) and a working key fob with them when in the courts area. Please be prepared to show proper ID, if asked. 

3) ALTA Teams have priority for scheduled practices and/or matches. Schedules must be posted, in advance, by the Captain at the entrance to the courts.
 
4) At no time shall there be no more than 4 (four) persons on a court.
 
5) Members under twelve (12) years old must have an adult member with them inside the courts.  
 
6) No one under eighteen (18) years old is allowed on the courts after 10:00 p.m. without a parent or guardian.
 
7) Court usage is limited to one (1) hour total play time. However, continued play is allowed past the one hour limit if no one is waiting to use the court.
 
8) All players must exhibit proper sportsmanship conduct and tennis etiquette at all times.
 
9) Abusive language and/or cussing is not allowed.
 
10) Only tennis shoes/sneakers may be worn on the courts.
 
11) Proper athletic wear must be worn when on the courts (t-shirts, shorts, sweats, warm-ups, polo shirts, tennis skirts). Shirts must be worn at all times. Bathing Suits are not permitted!
 
12) Courts are for tennis only! No bikes, skates, soccer balls, basketballs, volleyballs, rollerblades, or other non-tennis activities are allowed inside the fenced court areas.
 
13) Jumping, climbing and swinging on the nets and/or fence is prohibited.
 
14) Crawling under or over the fence is strictly prohibited.
 
15) No food or glass containers may be taken inside the fenced area. Beverages must be in non-breakable containers. If a spill does occur, please clean it up.
 
16) Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed by adults (age 21 or older).
 
17) No smoking is permitted inside the courts.
 
18) All trash must be placed in proper receptacles.
 
19) Parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times when on the property.
 
20) Members may be financially responsible for damage to WCSTA facilities imposed by themselves, guests, or their children. Members assume full responsibility for their guests. Please ensure your guests know all the rules while on WCSTA property.
 
21) Please report any abuses to property you might observe to the WCSTA Board of Directors or the Gwinnett County Police, if appropriate.
 
22) The WCSTA Board has the authority to suspend any member for violation of regulations. The Board will review the violation and determine the member's suspension. Written notice will be sent to the member advising the member of the length of suspension. Continued violations may result in an extended suspension for an unspecified time.

23) No pets allowed inside the courts.
 
24) By entering the tennis courts, you understand and agree to be recorded and monitored by a CCTV (camera) system.
 
25) The WCSTA Board of Directors reserves the right to amend these rules - with or without notice to members - to protect the facilities and property.
 
All use of facilities by Members and guests is at the individual's own risk. Westchester Commons Swim & Tennis Association Inc., the Board of Directors and the Advisory Committee assume no responsibility. Members or their guests have no claim against the Homeowners Association or Advisory Committee for any accident or injury. Westchester Commons Swim & Tennis Association, Inc. and the Advisory Committee are not responsible for the loss and damage of personal property.
